The shooting took place around 6:19 p.m. Thursday, March 14, in the area of Terrace Circle, said Bridgeport Police spokesman Terron Jones.
Police report the person was shot in the wrist and was transported by private vehicle to the hospital, he said.
The incident is under investigation and no arrests have been made.
